The Datenbank (database) is mory’s document module. All contracts, invoices, quotes, plans and photos live here in one place, whether they were uploaded, received by email or saved from a task.

What the database is

The database replaces classic folder structures. Instead of filing documents into folders, you simply upload them. mory reads the content, recognises the document type and automatically links the document to the matching Liegenschaft (property), Einheit (unit), Ausstattung (equipment) or Aufgabe (task). The same document then appears wherever it is needed:
  • in the database itself (all documents at a glance)
  • in the Dokumente (Documents) tab of a property, unit or equipment item
  • in the Documents tab of a Person (person) or Unternehmen (company)
  • in the Documents tab of a task
You only upload a document once. mory takes care of linking it to the individual modules.

The tile view

Each document is shown as a tile with a preview. A tile shows:

Search, sort, filter

Above the tiles you find the tools to narrow down the list quickly:
  • Search: typos or partial terms still find the document.
  • Sort: for example by date or name.
  • Filter: by Mandant (client), Organisation (organisation), property, type and period.
The client filter in the database only narrows down the document list. The client selector at the top right of the header, by contrast, affects the whole app. If a document seems to be missing, first check which client is selected at the top right.

Loading more documents

The database shows the newest documents first. When you scroll to the end of the list or move to the next page, the next documents are loaded. With large collections it pays off to filter first instead of scrolling.

Upload a document

At the top right of the database you find the Dokument hochladen (Upload document) button. How uploading works and which other routes exist (email attachments, tasks, tenant portal) is described on Uploading documents.
