Every role applies to a specific area:
What instance, organisation and client mean is explained in Organisations & users.
Default roles
mory ships with predefined roles. The roles available to you are listed in Settings.- Admin: Manages organisations, users, roles, connected accounts and Workflows. Sees all data of your company.
- Bewirtschafter/in (Property manager): Works on tasks, properties, units, people and documents within their area. Works with the agent and the checklists.
- Other roles: For example for accounting or the service center, with restricted editing rights.
What a user with area client sees
A user with area Mandant (client) sees only data of their client:- Aufgaben (Tasks): Under Meine Aufgaben (My tasks), Meine Fristen (My deadlines) and Alle Aufgaben (All tasks), only tasks for properties of this client appear.
- Datenbank (Documents): Only documents assigned to the client or its properties.
- Dashboard: Key figures, deadlines and lettings refer to the client only.
- Bewirtschaftung (Management): Only the client’s properties and units. Contacts (Personen (People), Unternehmen (Companies)) are visible to everyone.

Open the user
In Settings, open user management and select the person.

Choose role and area
Select the role and define whether it applies to the whole company, one organisation or specific clients.

Save
The change takes effect at the next sign-in or after reloading the page.
Team view: absence and reassignment
Everyone can record an absence in their own profile. Team leads and administrators additionally see a team view in Settings:- Record absences for other team members, for example in case of unexpected leave.
- Reassign all open tasks of one person to another person in one go.
Visibility towards other companies
Data of other companies that also use mory is never visible, not even to administrators.Frequently asked questions

First check the Mandant (client) selector in the header: is the correct client selected? Then check with your administrator whether your role has the right area. In most cases it is one of these two points.

Yes, for example property manager for one organisation and admin for the whole company. The broader permission applies.
