What is read out
After upload, mory reads the document (using text recognition for scans) and fills the fields in the document sidebar:

Automatic assignment
mory assigns the document to the matching context:- Property and unit: from the content, title and file name. Different spellings of addresses (for example “Bahnhofstr. 5” instead of “Bahnhofstrasse 5”) are recognised as well.
- Mandant (client): follows from the assigned Liegenschaft (property).
- Ausstattung (equipment): if the document describes a device (for example a heating quote) that does not yet exist in mory, mory creates the equipment item automatically when needed.
- Contacts: sender and recipient are recognised as a Person (person) or Unternehmen (company) and linked.
What applies when you entered something yourself
Your own entries always take precedence. If you specified a property or a task number during upload or later in the sidebar, mory does not overwrite it. Only empty fields are filled automatically.Where the document appears
A document is visible wherever it is assigned: on the property, unit, equipment item, task, and on the linked people and companies. The client additionally determines who may see the document in the app.How to correct

Open the document
Click the tile in the database. The sidebar with all fields opens.

Change the context
Adjust the property, unit, equipment or task number. The change is saved and mory no longer overwrites it.

Check the client
The client can always be changed and controls visibility. A wrong client is the most common reason why a document seems to be “missing”.

Adjust the title
The title equals the file name and is editable. It is not the summary; you find that separately in the sidebar.
