# My tasks & deadlines: reading the task list

> How the task list in mory is structured, what the tags and icons mean, and how to search, sort and filter.

Under **Aufgaben** (Tasks) you find all cases assigned to you or affecting you. This page explains the tabs, the rows and the tools for searching, sorting and filtering.

## Tabs

| Tab                              | Content                                                                                                                                                     |
| -------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Meine Aufgaben** (My tasks) | All open tasks you are responsible for. |
| **Meine Fristen** (My deadlines) | Deadlines from contracts (expiry, option, index, step rent) and equipment (maintenance) of your properties. Details under [Deadlines](/en/tasks/deadlines). |
| **Alle Aufgaben** (All tasks) | All tasks of your organisation, including those of colleagues. |
| **Archiv** (Archive) | Completed tasks (status **Completed**). |

## Grouping by time

The list is grouped by last activity date: **Heute** (Today), **Gestern** (Yesterday), **Letzte 7 Tage** (Last 7 days), **Dieser Monat** (This month), **Letzter Monat** (Last month), **Früher** (Earlier). This shows you immediately what has moved recently.

## Reading a row

Each row summarises one task:

| Element                  | Meaning                                                                                          |
| ------------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Title** | Short description of the case, usually generated by mory from the message. |
| Context line             | Property · Unit · Reported by · Equipment · Task no. (format T-YYMMDD-NNN).                      |
| **Status badge** | **Neu** (New), **In Bearbeitung** (In progress) or **On Hold**. |
| **Workflow tag** | The case type, e.g. damage handling, tenant change, general request. |
| **Priority** | **Niedrig** (Low), **Mittel** (Medium), **Hoch** (High) or **Dringend** (Urgent). |
| **Überfällig** (Overdue) | Shown when the due date has passed. |
| **Privat** (Private) | Lock icon for private notes that only you can see. |
| Source icon | Where the task came from: email, phone, WhatsApp, created manually or created by the mory agent. |

## Sorting

By default, open to-dos are at the top, newest first within a group. Completed tasks move to the bottom. Use **Sortieren** (Sort) to change the order, e.g. by due date or priority.

## Searching and filtering

* **Suche** (Search): type a task number, address, tenant name or a keyword from the title.
* **Filtern** (Filter): combine filters by **Status**, **Typ** (Type), **Liegenschaft** (Property), **Fälligkeit** (Due date), **Quelle** (Source) and **Mieter** (Tenant).

<Tip>
  Filters stay active until you reset them. If a task seems to be missing, check the filters and the selected **Mandant** (Client) in the top right corner first.
</Tip>

## Paging

The list shows 50 tasks per page. Move to the next page at the bottom of the list.

## Creating a new task

**Neue Aufgabe** (New task) at the top right starts the assistant for a manual task, e.g. when a tenant approaches you in person. See [Create a new task](/en/tasks/create-task).

## My deadlines in brief

mory generates deadlines automatically from the tenancies and equipment of your properties. They appear on the **Dashboard** under **Fristen & Indizes** (Deadlines & indices) and here under **Meine Fristen** (My deadlines). From there you jump straight to the affected unit or equipment. More under [Deadlines](/en/tasks/deadlines).
