# Inbox: read, sort and answer emails

> How the mory inbox is structured, how the AI sorts messages and how you compose emails.

The **Posteingang** (Inbox) brings together all incoming messages from your connected accounts and channels in one place. The AI pre-sorts them, creates tasks when needed and helps you reply. This page shows how to use the inbox day to day.

## Layout of the inbox

At the top you find four tabs with counters showing the number of unread messages:

| Tab                              | Content                                                                                    |
| -------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Wichtig** (Important) | Messages the AI rated as relevant: damage reports, terminations, owner requests and so on. |
| **In Bearbeitung** (In progress) | Messages that already have a task or that you are working on. |
| **Sonstiges** (Other) | Newsletters, confirmations and anything that needs no action. |
| **Mehr** (More) | Further folders, including the **Gelöscht** (Deleted) folder. |

You also have:

* **Alle Kanäle** (All channels): filter by channel (email, WhatsApp, phone, letter), for example to see only WhatsApp messages from tenants.
* **Suche** (Search): full-text search across sender, subject and body.
* **Sortieren** (Sort): by date or relevance.

## What the AI does automatically

* **Classification**: every message is placed in Important, In progress or Other. Important messages also appear in your daily list on the **Dashboard**.
* **Task creation**: when the AI recognises a case (e.g. a damage report), it automatically creates a task, assigns property, unit and contact, and starts the matching workflow.

<Note>
  The AI can make mistakes. For important cases, take a moment to check that property and unit are assigned correctly and fix them in the task if needed.
</Note>

## Working through messages

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open a message">
    Click a row. The content and attachments open on the right. If a task already exists, you see a link that takes you straight to the task.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Done or Snooze">
    **Done** marks the message as handled and removes it from the tab. **Snooze** puts it aside for a chosen period; afterwards it reappears in the inbox.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Delete">
    Deleted messages go to the **Gelöscht** (Deleted) folder under More, where they can be restored.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Composing an email

| **KI-Entwurf** (AI draft) | Get a suggested reply and adjust it. |
| **Signatur** (Signature) | The signature stored in your **Einstellungen** (Settings) is inserted automatically. |
| **Anhänge** (Attachments) | Upload files from your desktop or pick them directly from the **Datenbank** (Database). |

  After sending, an **Undo** window appears for a short time. Use it to pull back an email if you spot a mistake.
