# Owner portal

> What owners see in the portal, how you invite owners, and how approvals and documents are currently handled.

The owner portal (**Eigentümerportal**) gives owners insight into the key figures and documents of their client entity (**Mandant**) without you having to send reports manually. This page shows what owners see, how you invite them and how quote approvals work.

## What owners see

| Documents      | All documents you have shared for the owner portal from the document database (**Datenbank**), for example statements, contracts or minutes |

Owners only see data belonging to their own **Mandant**. In mory, the Mandant follows automatically from the owners of a property; visibility in the portal follows this assignment.

## Inviting owners

The invitation works the same way as for the tenant portal and is located on the person page directly below the tenant portal invitation.

    Go to **Bewirtschaftung › Personen** (Management › People) and open the owner. The person must be linked to a property as an owner.

    In the right sidebar, switch to the **Portal** section. Below the tenant portal invitation you find the invitation to the owner portal.

  <Step title="Send the invitation and check the status">
    Trigger the invitation. The owner portal status column in the **Personen** list changes to **Eingeladen** (Invited) and, after the first sign-in, to **Aktiv** (Active).

  If the owner is a company, invite the contact person recorded for the company (**Unternehmen**).

## Sharing documents

You share documents for the owner portal individually in the document database. Sharing for tenants and owners is separate: a document can be visible to both or to one side only. See [Sharing documents with tenants or owners](/en/documents/share-portals) for instructions.

## Approvals in the damage workflow

If an order exceeds the approval limit (**Kompetenzsumme**) of the property, mory requests the owner's approval in the damage workflow. This approval runs by email: the owner receives a message with a link and can approve or decline the quote with one click. The response appears in the task's **Aktivitäten** (Activities).

  Check the **Kompetenzsumme** and the delegation limit in the property's sidebar so that approvals are only requested where they are needed.
